My colleague who is just 21 had an unusual defect in his brain which compressed his spine and over the last year it took away his balance, ability to walk more than a few steps and his happy demeanour due to the amount of pain he was in. Once he was referred to Queens he was seen quickly by Mr. David and operated on shortly afterwards. Expectations were managed in that the operation should stop any further worsening of symptoms but after 4 months of rehab and a clearly brilliant surgeon and support staff at Queens, he is back at work part time. None of us really expected that to be the outcome and we are all thrilled. Apart from the surgical excellence, Mr. David was very approachable and really listened to his patient (who also has a learning disability) and one everyone over with his honest and clear summary of cause/approach and probable outcomes. Thank you to Mr. David and his firm- my colleagues words today were: ' Thank you for giving me a second chance. I no longer struggle. I'm not in pain, I'm just so happy'.

My father was recently diagnosed with acute stenosis along with degenerative wear and tear and other spinal issues. He is 80, however, he still works making and repairing musical instruments. Unfortunately, he was an inpatient at one hospital and put forward as an outpatient at another. In sheer frustration at my Father's deterioration i decided to email the surgeon directly. The surgeon in question was Mr David. Within the hour Mr David had called me. He then arranged for Dad to be transferred and operated within the week, even in the midst of the current crisis. Mr David has continued to check on my Father's progress. From start to finish i cannot fault this gentleman's dedication and professionalism. Thank to Mr David and his skill my Father has his life back.

Amazing surgeon who I have been under for approx 13 years. Mr David has improved my quality of life. He listens well and is extremely thorough in his consultations.ecplaining your MRI and offering you the best advice for your condition. I have had 3 individual surgical procedures by him, and have 100 percent faith in him. He is very honest and open in regards to your treatment and I would recommend him to anyone.

I am now under the care of another neurosurgeon due to a secondary condition but for the past 6 years Mr David has monitored my benign meningioma . When it showed growth he offered me guidance and advice as I had to choose between gamma knife surgery and other options and he gave reassurance when it was stable. I have appreciated his professionalism and candour. I had faith in him and am grateful for his care.
